The 2025 International Conference on Digital Technology and Educational Psychology (DTEP 2025) was successfully held in Cambridge, UK, from June 20 to 22, 2025. As a multidisciplinary forum at the intersection of technology and psychology in education, DTEP 2025 convened scholars, educators, researchers, and practitioners from around the globe to explore emerging trends, transformative tools, and psychological insights in the digital learning era. The conference provided a timely and dynamic platform for rigorous academic exchange, practical innovation, and theoretical advancement.

This year's conference attracted over 80 registered participants, reflecting a growing global interest in the synergy between educational technology and psychological theory. Following a meticulous peer-review process, DTEP 2025 received 48 full-paper submissions, out of which 20 high-quality contributions were selected for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings. These papers represent a diverse spectrum of topics and methodologies, capturing the multifaceted nature of digital transformation in education.

The academic depth of the conference was greatly enriched by three distinguished keynote speakers. Prof. Jianping Yin (Dongguan University of Technology) offered a forward-looking perspective on the integration of technological innovation with pedagogical practice, emphasizing both infrastructural development and cognitive effectiveness. Prof. Dave Towey (University of Nottingham Ningbo China) presented critical insights into the evolution of e-learning ecosystems, advocating for learner-centered design, inclusivity, and adaptive feedback. Prof. Qiao Yan (Shenzhen University) provided an incisive analysis of how artificial intelligence intersects with educational psychology, addressing the ethical, behavioral, and developmental implications of algorithm-driven learning environments.

The scope of DTEP 2025 was broad and intellectually rich, encompassing a wide array of topics that reflect the current transformation in digital education and learning sciences. Discussions ranged from the application of emerging technologies—such as online platforms, gamified tools, mobile learning, VR/AR systems, AI, and learning analytics—to psychological and pedagogical concerns including motivation, emotional intelligence, social presence, feedback strategies, and learner well-being in digital contexts. This convergence of technological innovation with psychological insight offered not only a vision for the future of education but also actionable knowledge for addressing its present challenges.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all authors, reviewers, keynote speakers, and participants for their valuable contributions, and look forward to continuing this important conversation in future editions of DTEP.
