- Abstract
The agricultural industry is undergoing a major transformation, driven by technological advancements that promise to revolutionize the way food is produced. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a key tool to address the challenges of food security, sustainability, climate change, and efficiency. This paper explores the applications of AI in agriculture, focusing on how machine learning, data analytics, computer vision, and robotics are being integrated into farming practices. Additionally, it examines the economic reasoning behind farmers’ investments in AI technologies despite their high initial costs, through the lens of cost-benefit analysis, productivity gains, risk management, and long-term profit maximization.
