- Abstract
Cultivating students’ core literacy helps to complete the process of students’ socialization, and figure rope skipping, because of its unique educational value and potential for nurturing people, has become a teaching carrier for cultivating students’ core literacy in physical education, which will be effectively formed through the mode of “learning, practicing and competing” in the course. This paper adopts the questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics method to conduct empirical study on the rope skipping course offered by the leisure sports majors of Shenzhen University. It explores the implementation of the rope skipping course under the guidance of core literacy, analyzes the impact of the reformed rope skipping course on students’ core literacy and comprehensive ability, and puts forward relevant countermeasures based on the results of the study, which provides reference for the reform of the teaching and nurturing system of the physical education curriculum.
