Website: https://www.ic-eiit.com Online learning eliminates spatiotemporal limitations, artificial intelligence optimizes teaching processes, and virtual reality enhances immersive experiences. These innovative practices not only reshape the ecosystem of education but also elevate the integration of educational innovation and information technology to a critical topic in global academic research. Against this backdrop, the 2025 International Conference on Educational Innovation and Information Technology (EIIT 2025) was held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, from October 10-12, 2025. The conference brought together experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and enterprises in China, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Thailand, and other countries to jointly explore future pathways for educational development. The conference agenda was both compact and academically rich, with all sessions centered on the integration of education and technology. The opening ceremony featured a speech by Professor Wan Mohd Nasir Wan Kadir (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia), who has amassed nearly 30 years of academic experience and published over 120 research works in software engineering, thereby setting a solid academic tone for the conference. Subsequent keynote speeches by experts from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)—Associate Professor Ajune Wanis Ismail, Associate Professor Mohd Shahizan Othman, and Associate Professor Zaleha Abdullah—focused on the core theme of educational digital transformation, addressing the sustainable development of future education from technological application scenarios, humanistic ethical orientations, and the "back-to-basics" approach in education respectively, and provided a multi-dimensional and practical thinking framework for the field. Associate Professor Hafizul Fahri Hanafi from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia presented on "Pedagogical-AI Alignment in Education," which addressed a core challenge in the field—the misalignment between educational technology and teaching goals. These diverse yet complementary perspectives collectively formed the academic core of this conference. Additionally, the conference facilitated in-depth academic exchanges through oral and poster presentations. The oral presentations covered interdisciplinary topics such as digital financial education, AI applications in corporations, and professional teachers' development—demonstrating the cross-disciplinary application of educational technology and expanding the conference's research scope. Poster presentations included practical cases such as "The Enlightenment on the Reform of the Training System of German Vocational Education" and "Japanese Culture Course Design Based on Virtual Reality Technology". These cases translated theoretical discussions into concrete scenarios for technology-enhanced education, offering context-specific solutions tailored to diverse national contexts while aligning with global educational development trends. The publication of these proceedings embodies the fruits of international academic collaboration. We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizing unit, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and the co-organizer, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, for their meticulous planning, dedicated efforts, and strong support. We are confident that the research findings presented in the accepted papers will advance the development of global educational informatization. EIIT 2025 Conference Committee
