Welcome to the 2024 2nd International Conference on Economic Management, Financial Innovation, and Public Service (EMFIPS 2024). The conference was successfully held during December 28–29, 2024, in Cangzhou, China. The conference is dedicated to building an academic exchange platform for experts and scholars in the fields of economic management, financial innovation, and public services. The concept of the conference is to allow scientists, scholars, engineers, and students from universities and industries worldwide to showcase ongoing research activities, thus promoting research relationships between universities and industries. Economic development provides a basic material foundation for public services, and public services lay a good social foundation for economic development. The conference provides an opportunity for delegates to meet face-to-face to exchange new ideas and applied experiences, establish business or research relationships, and find global partners for future collaborations. The conference will be held annually.

The meeting focused on the latest research fields of Economic Management, Public Administration, and Financial Innovation. It consisted of two parts: oral presentations and keynote speeches. More than 40 participants attended the meeting, coming from China, Japan, Singapore, the UK, and more.

In the keynote presentations, we invited two distinguished professors. The first, Professor Chengyi Zhang from the School of Economics and Finance at Xi’an Jiaotong University, is known for his outstanding research on quantitative finance and internet finance. His speech was titled: Credit Risk Evaluation System Under the Background of Internet Finance. The second keynote speaker, Professor Jun Mi from the School of Economics at Sichuan University, delivered a speech on: Opportunities, Risks, and Challenges in Jointly Building the Belt and Road in the Next 3–5 Years.

We are very grateful to the keynote speakers, session chairs, and members of the organizing committee, whose active participation and enthusiastic presentations, as well as the participants’ enthusiasm for networking, made this conference a great success. We are also grateful to all the authors who contributed papers to the conference, whose active contributions helped bring the conference to a successful conclusion.
