Abstract

Conventional manual management methods are plagued by inefficiency and insecurity, as well as cumbersome query processes, challenges in updating and maintaining records. Digitized student archives management system is inevitable for a university in order to improve efficiency. This paper develops a student archives management system based on the Matlab platform, which is tailored for university. The system integrates multi-dimensional data, including basic student information, academic performance, and records of rewards and penalties, to achieve digital management and efficient querying of student archives. Meanwhile, it is designed with a modular structure, which encompasses functional modules such as data entry, data storage, data retrieval, data analysis and report generation. Leveraging Matlab platform robust data processing and visualization capabilities, the system can efficiently handle large volumes of student data and generate intuitive statistical charts, providing decision-making support for university administrators. Integrated management of electronic archives and paper-based archives based on digital management of student information. This paper elaborates on the system design principles, implementation methods of functional modules, and the testing and optimization processes. Experimental results verify that the proposed management system exhibits high stability, usability, scalability, significantly enhancing the automation of student archives management and offering strong technical support for university information management.
