- Abstract
The development and implementation of human rights education in the higher education system is an important way to promote social fairness and justice in the context of globalization. By analyzing the current situation of human rights education in Chinese higher education, this paper discusses its progress and shortcomings in terms of policy support, curriculum, and student demand, and points out the main challenges such as cultural differences, unequal distribution of resources, and weak faculty. On this basis, implementation strategies such as curriculum design and teaching method innovation, teacher training and professional development, campus culture building, and international cooperation and resource sharing are proposed. The study shows that through interdisciplinary curriculum integration, case teaching, digital resource development, and international exchange and cooperation, colleges and universities can effectively improve the quality and impact of human rights education and cultivate high-quality talents with a global perspective and a sense of social responsibility.
