Abstract

This paper mainly discusses the application and practice of MAO Zedong’s investigation and research thought in the Customs Anti-smuggling work in the new period, and analyzes its importance to improving the efficiency and precision of the Anti-smuggling work. MAO Zedong’s investigation and research method emphasized the principle of seeking truth from facts and going from the masses to the masses, which provided important theoretical guidance for the Customs Anti-smuggling work in the new period. The paper first analyzes the core meaning of MAO Zedong’s investigation and research thought, and discusses the specific application of the Anti-smuggling work in combination with the characteristics of the Customs Anti-smuggling work in the new period. Through example analysis, it shows the positive role of MAO Zedong’s investigation and research thought in improving the efficiency of Anti-smuggling work and improving the professional quality of Anti-smuggling police, etc. Finally, the paper puts forward how to give full play to the guiding role of MAO Zedong’s investigation and research thought in the Anti-smuggling work at the present stage, so as to provide new ideas and direction for the Anti-smuggling work in China.
