Abstract

With the acceleration of population aging, China has now entered a deeply aging society. Against this background, the Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of the nursing system for the elderly, and long-term care insurance has become the “sixth insurance” after the “five insurances” of endowment insurance, medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance and maternity insurance. However, in the field of nursing for the elderly population, China is still in the initial stage of development, which needs to be continuously improved. As a country with a deeply aging population, Japan’s nursing system and nursing insurance started earlier and are now in a relatively complete stage. This paper aims to introduce the Japanese nursing system under the framework of insurance nursing law, hoping to provide a positive and useful reference for the development and improvement of China’s nursing system and nursing insurance system.
