- Abstract
This study adopts modular design in the mechanical drawing course, including compulsory modules and elective modules. The compulsory modules focus on basic content, and also introduce the history and latest technologies of aviation industry to help students get more understanding. In order to cater to the diverse requirements of students majoring in aircraft manufacturing and aircraft maintenance, this study has also established elective modules. This study has developed an online resource library for mechanical drawing and devised a novel teaching methodology that integrates online and offline, in-class and out-of-class, as well as theoretical and practical components. The teaching process is currently implemented in four stages: pre-class guidance, in-class learning, post-class review, and extracurricular practice., ensuring that learning extends beyond the classroom setting. The problems of limited learning time, lack of practical teaching, insufficient extracurricular tutoring, and low interest in learning are solved in this study.
