- Abstract
This study addresses the critical challenge of integrating the Chinese Dream into ideological and political education for vocational college students in the new era, recognizing vocational institutions as pivotal platforms for cultivating technical talents essential to national rejuvenation. Through systematic analysis of the Chinese Dream’s core principles and its alignment with vocational education objectives, the research identifies three key dilemmas: fragmented professional cognition among students, disconnection between diversified value orientations and ideological guidance, and skill set limitations conflicting with interdisciplinary talent demands. To resolve these issues, the paper proposes an integrated educational model combining curricular innovation, practical training, and cultural immersion. This framework features a tripartite approach: 1) developing modular courses like The Spirit of Master Craftsmen through interdisciplinary collaboration between technical and political educators; 2) establishing industry-academia partnerships such as “Red Craftsman Studios” to embed ideological elements in skill development; 3) creating immersive cultural ecosystems through digital platforms and experiential activities. By analyzing policy directives like the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan, proposing measurable implementation strategies, and establishing a three-tier quality assurance system, the study demonstrates how synchronized curriculum design, progressive practical training chains, and cultural value internalization collectively enhance students’ professional ethics and ideological identity. Empirical evidence confirms the model’s effectiveness in bridging the traditional divide between political education and technical training, ultimately advancing the cultivation of multi-skilled “master craftsmen” who embody socialist core values and contribute to national rejuvenation.
