Abstract

This paper delves into the transformative impact of digital tools on interactivity in TESOL classrooms, highlighting their pivotal role in creating a more dynamic and inclusive educational setting. The significance of interactivity is underscored as it is essential for language acquisition, allowing students to actively engage with the content and with one another. Digital tools, such as interactive whiteboards, learning management systems, and mobile apps, facilitate this engagement by offering varied formats and immediate feedback, catering to diverse learning styles and preferences. The paper discusses how these tools can be leveraged to enhance student engagement through strategies like gamification, the use of multimedia content, and social media integration. It also explores collaborative learning facilitated by digital platforms that allow students to work together, exchange ideas, and develop their language skills in a supportive environment. Furthermore, the paper examines student-centered approaches that empower learners to take charge of their educational journey, choosing topics of interest and pacing their learning according to their individual needs. In conclusion, the paper asserts that while challenges exist, they are surmountable with the right strategies and resources.
