- Abstract
This article focuses on the practical experience of digital transformation in primary and secondary education in Foshan City, and explores the paths and challenges of its empowerment of regional education development. Through multi-dimensional research methods such as interviews and on-site investigations, the current development status, existing problems and optimization countermeasures of digitalization in education in Foshan City were systematically analyzed. Research has found that Foshan City has significantly improved the efficiency of educational resource sharing and teaching quality through measures such as creating a “5G+ Smart Education” model. However, problems at all levels remain prominent. Based on successful experiences at home and abroad, this article proposes a four-dimensional optimization path and offers optimization suggestions at the levels of teachers, policies, allocation of educational resources, management mechanisms, and reconstruction of teaching models, in order to cultivate students’ higher-order thinking and lifelong learning abilities. This article provides a reference framework with both theoretical depth and practical value for the digital transformation of regional education.
