Abstract

Unmanaged work fatigue can lead to serious workplace issues and increase the risk of accidents, making it essential for hospitals to assess employee performance and identify factors contributing to fatigue. This study aimed to analyze the determinants of work fatigue among health workers at Konawe Islands Regency Hospital in 2024. This study was conducted for two months: July to August 2024. The research employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 75 respondents were selected as the study sample, with data collected through questionnaires. Multiple logistic regression analysis was performed using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS 25). The findings revealed that age, gender, and length of service were not significantly associated with work fatigue, whereas sleep quality was found to have a significant effect. Additionally, factors such as work stress, nutritional status, anemia status, medical history, work shifts, workload, and the work environment were identified as influencing work fatigue among health workers at Konawe Islands Regency Hospital.
