- Abstract
Taoist dance, as a treasure of China’s intangible cultural heritage, contains profound historical deposits and cultural connotations. It has become an important carrier for the study of Taoist culture by integrating Taoist philosophy, fairy belief, culture and art. Nowadays, with the acceleration of modernization, Taoist dance faces the challenge of inheritance and development. How to conduct in-depth research on it from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage is a problem worthy of in-depth discussion. This paper mainly discusses the historical origin, cultural connotation, inheritance and development of Taoist dance. Through the analysis from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage, the paper presents the rich cultural values accumulated in the historical development of Taoist dance and the difficulties of inheritance and development in modern society, and puts forward corresponding research and protection measures for Taoist dance, in order to promote its inheritance and development in contemporary times.
