Abstract

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of meal experiences in traditional restaurants on customer satisfaction in Accra, Ghana. A cross sectional study design was used to ensure data was taken at a single point in time. The quantitative data was carried out with a sample size of 105 traditional restaurant customers in Accra, Ghana. Participants answered a reliable and statistically valid online questionnaire (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.960 and valid at 2-tailed significant value). Simple random sampling technique was used during data collection. One-way ANOVA was used to identify the significant difference between variables. According to the findings, the statistical data on the impact of meal experiences in traditional restaurants on customer satistfaction in Accra-Ghana. Table 2 shows that the F value is greater than the critical value (F = 5.928, p = 0.017; Critical Value = 0.080, p = 0.000).It shows that there is a significant difference in the impact of meal experiences in traditional restaurants on customer satistfaction in Accra-Ghana. The study suggests that a favorable eating experience not only fulfils customers but also fosters attachment and boosts return visits.
