- Abstract
Currently, the integration of the construction industry and Industry 4.0 is facing a series of opportunities and challenges. This paper explores the concept, characteristics, and structure of intelligent construction factories within the context of Construction 4.0, with a focus on transportation infrastructure. And examines the functional zoning, organizational structure, and intelligent modules that define these factories, highlighting their role in optimizing production and reducing environmental impact. The study concludes by discussing the future trends of intelligent construction factories, emphasizing their potential for further automation, data-driven decision-making, and global collaboration. Intelligent construction factories are key drivers of innovation and efficiency in modern transportation infrastructure development. This study can help to further promote the efficient development of transportation infrastructure industrialization and orderly promote the construction industry towards Construction 4.0.
