Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe an effective governance network system in stunting prevention policies. Indonesia is a country with a prevalence of children suffering from stunting of 31.8% in 2020. The government has made various efforts to tackle stunting through various policies and interventions. One of them is the policy of accelerating stunting reduction, which is a shared responsibility between cross-sectors.

The research results show that the stunting reduction acceleration program involves various agencies such as the Health Service, Population Control Service, Family Planning, Women’s Protection and Child Protection, Village Community Empowerment Service, etc. The network governance system in the stunting reduction acceleration program was analyzed with indicators of network structure that can facilitate effective action coordination and team-like collaboration. In Bulukumba Regency, a Team for the Acceleration of Reducing Stunting was formed as stated in Bulukumba Regent’s Decree Number 188.45-115. Agreements between network actors are regulated in the agreed Stunting Data Similarity Mou. The aim of all actors involved in the program to accelerate stunting reduction is the same, namely to reduce the stunting rate to 14%.
