- Abstract
Stunting reduction is one of the main health challenges in Kolaka Regency, Indonesia, which has a high prevalence of stunting due to limited access to adequate nutrition. The Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) is an effective solution to overcome this problem by utilizing home gardens as a sustainable food source. This program aims to increase community access to nutritious food, especially vegetables and fruits, and provide education on the importance of balanced nutrition for children. Through a combination of food security, community empowerment, and nutrition education, the Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) is expected to have a long-term impact on reducing stunting rates in Kolaka Regency. Initial results show high community participation and a decrease in stunting prevalence in areas implementing this program. However, challenges such as limited resources and knowledge of optimal agricultural techniques still need to be overcome to ensure the sustainability of this program as an effective solution.
