Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the input of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Palopo City, a conditional social assistance program designed to improve the welfare of poor families in Indonesia. The focus of this evaluation is on the input components, which include human resources, budget, and supporting infrastructure for program implementation. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis related to the implementation of PKH in Palopo City.

The results of the study indicate that although PKH in Palopo City is generally running well, there are several significant challenges that affect the effectiveness of the program, especially in terms of training and competence of human resources, as well as the management of funds that need to be more transparent. These findings indicate the need for improvements in the provision of more comprehensive training for field officers, as well as improvements in fund management to support the sustainability of the program. Strategic recommendations are provided to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of PKH implementation in Palopo City as well as a contribution to a more inclusive social policy.
