- Abstract
This research explores how the problems of discrimination and equality in educational services for children with special needs are viewed from the lens of the teachings of Jesus Christ in the text Matthew 25:45. This research uses library study and textual analysis methods with Matthew 25:45 as the primary reference. Empirical data was obtained through observations and interviews with teachers and parents from one autism-specific kindergarten in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. This research reveals that inclusive education reflects Christian ideals, including Jesus Christ’s teachings on love, equality, and service. Inclusive education is an ethical and spiritual need founded on Christian ideas that value each individual. Overcoming discrimination, particularly against children with special needs, is consistent with Jesus’ message of equality, in which everyone has equal value in the eyes of God. The Church plays a vital role in promoting inclusion by reducing barriers that hinder all people from having equal access to education, fulfilling the Christian duty to serve and uplift the underprivileged.
