Abstract

This study explores a purpose that discusses the physical, social, and technological aspects related to the church’s role in supporting an effective Sunday School program in the GMIM Eben Haezer Winangun congregation. The church is part of a Christian educational institution that plays a crucial role and holds significant responsibility in creating a conducive environment for children’s Christian education. A descriptive qualitative approach is employed as the research methodology. To collect data from Sunday School teachers, children, and parents, observation, interviews, and documentation methods were used. The findings reveal that a well-designed physical environment, the use of technology, and teacher training contribute to children’s engagement in Sunday School activities. Additionally, parental support and the church’s social environment further enhance the success of this program.This research contributes to the church by developing a comprehensive framework for the use of technology and improving physical facilities. Furthermore, the active participation of the church community has a significant impact on the effectiveness of learning in Sunday School.
