Abstract

In the contemporary educational landscape, the integration of Christian Religious Education within an inclusive education framework poses significant challenges, particularly in the digital era. This is due to the presence of children with special needs, each with distinct requirements, which complicates the implementation of effective learning strategies. This study aims to elucidate the challenges encountered in the pursuit of Christian Religious Education within the context of inclusive education in the digital era. The study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, employing a library-based research strategy to collect and analyze relevant data. The study’s findings indicate that challenges exist in the realm of learning Christian religious education in inclusive education in the digital era. These challenges include differences in the special needs of each student, limited teaching skills for children with special needs, a lack of community knowledge and understanding regarding the importance of learning Christian religious education in inclusive education, and an absence of integration of digital technology in the learning process. These challenges have an impact on the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom.
