- Abstract
At the G2O’s education forum in Bali, participants from various countries discussed a number of key issues related to early childhood development (ECD), including their expectations, obstacles, and achievements in the field of education. From these discussions, the authors have gained valuable insights into the multifaceted aspects of early childhood development. They have also identified the need to explore the perspectives of research subjects regarding the professionalism of ECD teachers, with a particular emphasis on those in the Palangka Raya region. The interview method was employed at three schools: Nurul Fitri Foundation, Kameloh Bulan Foundation School (KB), and Al-Hudaa Foundation PAUD or ECD. This is a qualitative study. Based on the interview results, the authors conclude that although the three schools, which include children with diverse religious beliefs (Islam, Hinduism, and Christianity), face various challenges, there is still hope for the future. This hope is realized by the facilities at each early childhood development (ECD) school. Both state-run facilities and local facilities were included in the study.
