Abstract

This research aims to measure the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) of prospective Christian Religious Education teachers in Central Kalimantan. The research was conducted using a quantitative survey methodology, data was collected from 34 students of the Palangka Raya State Christian Institute (IAKN) who had completed Field Experience Practices. The survey used was adapted from the TPACK questionnaire by Schmidt and Sahin, using a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research results show that PAK teachers have good levels of Technological Knowledge (TK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Content Knowledge (CK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). Even though overall these aspects are good, improvements still need to be made to increase the quality of prospective teachers. The results of this research indicate that although prospective Christian Religious Education teachers are ready to integrate technology with pedagogy and content, ongoing professional development is needed to address gaps and improve overall competency. This study contributes to the understanding of TPACK among prospective Christian Religious Education teachers, providing insight into their readiness to integrate technology into teaching and identifying areas for further development.
