- Abstract
This research aims to discuss Kellner’s thoughts related to media culture and media literacy in schools. The literature review method is the approach in this research. The results concluded that students in schools cannot be allowed to drown in the negative influence of digital media. Because students cannot be separated from digital media. To answer these problems, it is necessary to instill cultural values and religious values in dealing with the negative influence of digital media, as well as the need for digital media literacy education in schools. Adequate media literacy in schools can anticipate the negative influences of digital media while positively helping students and teachers in digital learning.
