Abstract

Children’s supper is a debate in several churches. The 2019 GKJ Synod implemented a children’s supper, although not all GKJs have implemented it because it takes time for socialization. This study examines was to test the hypothesis whether there is an influence of PAK through children’s supper on the formation of behavior in Sunday School children. This study was conducted at GKJ Petoran which has implemented a children’s supper for three years. This study aims to understand the importance of children’s supper in GKJs that have not implemented it. The methodology used is quantitative, with a population of 61 parents, but only 50 people were sampled because 11 parents’ children were still too young, namely aged 1-3 years. Data collection was carried out on May 6-11, 2024. Data collection used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The Linear Regression Results (R Square) were 0.889. The correlation table test obtained a determination coefficient (R square) indicating a positive correlation between frequency and children’s behavior, so it was concluded that Christian religious education through children’s communion is very beneficial in changing the behavior of Sunday School children.
