Website: http://www.iccaue.org We are pleased to present the proceedings of the 2024 6th International Conference on Civil Architecture and Urban Engineering (ICCAUE 2024), held virtually from November 15th to 17th, 2024. As the sixth edition of this conference, ICCAUE has become a prominent platform for fostering academic exchange and advancing innovation in civil architecture and urban engineering. ICCAUE 2024, co-organized by Tianjin University and Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. of China Communication Construction Company (CCCC) First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., China, aimed to address challenges and opportunities in areas such as sustainable urban development, smart grid management, advanced architectural design, geotechnical engineering, water treatment technologies, disaster mitigation, and waste management. This conference was honored to feature four distinguished keynote speakers whose expertise exemplifies the forefront of research and practice in the field: • Dr. Yonghua Cao, a First-Class Professional Chief Engineer at CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company Ltd., is a leading expert in geotechnical engineering and soft soil foundation reinforcement techniques. • Dr. Bin Li, a Senior Engineer at the CCCC Tianjin Port Research Institute, specializes in geotechnical and structural engineering, contributing significantly to national and provincial research projects, and has been recognized as a Youth Top Talent in engineering construction. • Professor Wei Zhang, a professor at Henan University of Science and Technology, has made substantial contributions to structural mechanics, reliability assessment, and underground space design, with his work recognized at the international level. • Professor Yuefang Rong from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, China, whose research areas include urban and regional development strategy, small and medium-sized city planning and design, urban and rural planning, and design evaluation. Their thought-provoking presentations provided valuable insights into the latest advancements and emerging trends in the field. This year’s conference received widespread participation from academics, researchers, and industry professionals worldwide. Following a rigorous peer-review process, a diverse array of high-quality papers has been selected for inclusion in this proceedings volume, reflecting cutting-edge research and practical applications. We are delighted by the active engagement of authors and attendees, whose contributions ensured the academic and technical excellence of ICCAUE 2024.
