- Abstract
This research is motivated by technological developments which are experiencing very rapid development. The digital development of the 4.0 revolution era has had many impacts on various aspects of life, especially educational aspects. One of the impacts of the industrial revolution 4.0 in the world of education is on Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the challenges of learning Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. This research approach is a type of qualitative research with a literature review research method. The data sources in this research come from scientific journals and books that are relevant to the research topic. Data collection was carried out by looking for references relevant to research material originating from scientific journals and books. Researchers collect references related to the topic. Then, researchers conducted a literature review of the journals and books that had been collected to determine the challenges of learning Islamic religious education in elementary schools in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.
