- Abstract
Physical education is one area of learning in schools that has an important role in improving the health and quality of life of students and Physical education is The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes and learning motivation through the use of role-playing type cooperative learning models in integrated social science of grade VII A students of SMP Negeri 1 Palaleh Barat, Buol Regency. This research is a class action research (PTK) conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 1 meeting. The number of respondents to this study was 20 students. Data collection techniques use tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis. Tests to measure student learning outcomes while questionnaires to measure student learning motivation. The results showed an increase in the completeness of learning outcomes and student motivation from cycle I to cycle II. Cycle I learning outcomes increased from 60% to 90% to cycle II. Motivation to learn cycle I increased from 65% to 90% to cycle II. It can be concluded that the improvement of learning outcomes and learning motivation in integrated social science through a role-playing learning model was successfully carried out.
