- Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between digital technology use and economic education students’ learning independence. This study used a quantitative approach. The population in this study is students majoring in economic education, faculty of economics and business, State University of Gorontalo. The sampling technique was carried out by probability sampling technique through simple random sampling of 235 respondents. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was simple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 24 for Windows program. The results showed that the use of digital technology has a positive and significant relationship with the learning independence of economic education students. The practical implications of this research can make a real contribution to the development of educational strategies that are more adaptive and relevant to the demands of the times, create an independent learning environment, increase creativity, and strengthen students’ skills as learners in the digital era.
