- Abstract
Environmental problems and the climate crisis are in the spotlight, and are crucial issues that need to be resolved immediately. Indonesia and Malaysia are two countries that are prone to the impact of the environmental crisis, including the partner, At-Tanzil Guidance Center Malaysia. The impact of the environmental crisis is more vulnerable to the younger generation, because they are the ones who feel the consequences of the behavior of previous generations. In addition, the younger generation is the holder of responsibility for future life. Given the crucial position of the younger generation, it is important to instill an understanding of environmental awareness and encourage pro-environmental behavior so that in the future this generation can prevent the worsening climate crisis. One way to achieve this goal is by conducting psychoeducation on environmental awareness and pro-environmental behavior to the younger generation. Psychoeducation is carried out by providing material on behaviors that endanger the environment and activities that can save the environment. The results of the activity showed that the participants followed the presentation with enthusiasm, and could practice environmentally conscious behavior through the game activities given at the end. These results show the importance of similar psychoeducation to the younger generation to instill environmental values.
