Abstract

With the acceleration of urbanization, the effective integration of cultural heritage and modern architectural design has become a major challenge for urban development. This study establishes a theoretical framework encompassing “conservation axis” and “innovation axis” through theoretical exploration and practical case analysis, aiming to guide the integration of cultural heritage conservation and modern architectural technology. Adopting a mixed research method combining qualitative and quantitative analyses, this study thoroughly evaluates the implementation effectiveness of integration strategies and explores the possibility of achieving a balance between conservation and modernization demands. The research results indicate that community participation and technological integration are key to successful integration, and this integration can significantly enhance the economic and social value of cultural heritage while maintaining its historical and cultural integrity. In conclusion, the study proposes a series of specific recommendations for policy makers and project implementers to promote the successful implementation of future projects.
