- Abstract
The objective is to cultivate high-quality engineering talents with an innovative spirit and practical ability, and to improve the professional quality of engineers through the implementation of a mechanical innovation design education programme. This paper analyses the current status of teaching in the mechanical innovation and design course, identifying deficiencies in the course content, case studies and teaching methods. It proposes reforms in these areas, building on the engineering case teaching method and exploring the potential of these reforms for the further development of mechanical innovation and design education.
