- Abstract
With the advancement of internet, communication, and mobile technologies, China has entered the era of the digital economy. This digital age has raised the requirements for cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship skills within the talent development process in vocational colleges. Innovation and entrepreneurship education has gradually become a focal point of educational reform in vocational institutions, with the goal of nurturing versatile talents who possess both innovative spirit and entrepreneurial capability. This paper analyzes the current state and challenges of integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education in the talent development process of vocational colleges. It explores pathways and practical approaches within this context. The study reveals that establishing scientific talent development objectives, optimizing the allocation of teaching resources, building innovation and entrepreneurship practice platforms, and creating effective evaluation mechanisms are essential for promoting the deep integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
