Abstract

Changes in the education system cause dynamics in the continuity of the teaching and learning process. This also affects the state of students both physically and psychologically so that efforts need to be made so that students remain enthusiastic in their learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-awareness in learning and academic self-management with the readiness to learn of UM Laboratory Junior High School students. The research design uses quantitative methods with correlation research. The population is 428 students with a sample size of 207 students, with sampling being simple randome sampling. The research instrument used psychological scales, namely the self-awareness scale in learning, the academic self-management scale and the learning readiness scale. The results showed that there was a relationship between the three variables, namely self-awareness in learning and academic self management with learning readiness. The correlation value obtained is 0.803, meaning that there is a significant relationship between self-awareness in learning and academic self management with learning readiness. This means that one variable with another is mutually influential and reciprocal.
