Abstract

The objectives of this study were to study the effects of patient-provider relationships, accessibility to care, and administrative effectiveness toward patient satisfaction. There were 400 patients from 10 different healthcare facilities in Kediri City used as a sampling group and were randomly selected by an accidental random sampling technique. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument to collect the data. The data analysis was done by using multiple regression analysis.

The research result revealed that the administration process had the strongest influence on public satisfaction followed by access to healthcare and the patient-provider relationship. All independent variables were statistically significant with the p-values of less than 0.01, indicating that each was the important predictor of public satisfaction. Based on the findings, enhancing the patient-provider relationship’s quality, making healthcare services more easily accessible, and streamlining administrative procedures could greatly raise the public’s satisfaction with healthcare services. These findings highlight the importance of quality healthcare in improving community well-being. Enhanced access and efficient processes could build trust in health services, reduce disparities, and improve public health outcomes.
