Abstract

This study aims to implement artistic gymnastics equipment as an effort to optimize the growth and development of junior male artistic gymnasts through a Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program (CSPAP). The research focuses on improving fundamental motor skills, coordination, and physical literacy among young athletes. A descriptive-qualitative approach was employed, involving observation, interviews, and performance assessments of gymnastics activities using standardized equipment adapted for school settings. The implementation emphasized safety, progressive difficulty, and integration into daily school physical education routines. Findings indicate that the introduction of structured artistic gymnastics equipment within the CSPAP framework effectively enhanced students’ motor coordination, strength, balance, and self-confidence. Moreover, teachers reported increased engagement and motivation among students during physical activities. The study concludes that the systematic use of artistic gymnastics apparatus in schools can serve as an effective medium for fostering comprehensive physical development and supporting the holistic growth of young gymnasts.
