- Abstract
In the long river of the era of rapid digital development, the luxury industry needs to undergo synchronous digital transformation if it wants to develop and not be eliminated. In various fields of digital transformation, financial-related digital transformation is particularly important. Therefore, this paper explores the digital transformation of financial management of LVMH, a leading company in the luxury industry, and evaluates its impact on efficiency and competitiveness. The transformation provides a benchmark for technology and how to face challenges. In addition, it includes the driving factors behind LVMH’s transformation and the tangible advantages and disadvantages and potential opportunities and challenges it brings. Through these findings, not only does it express LVMH’s role in the digitalization of the luxury industry, but it also puts forward suggestions for optimizing LVMH’s digital transformation. Finally, this paper provides valuable insights for academia and practice. It helps to understand financial digitalization and fills the gap between theory and practice in rapid development.
