- Abstract
With the rapid development of new media, university students’ learning methods, social interactions, and thinking patterns have undergone profound changes, which present new challenges for university education and management. New media has diversified students’ sources of information, enriched learning resources, but also brought about issues such as information overload and fragmented learning, affecting educational outcomes. This paper explores the impact of new media on the education and management of university students, analyzes the challenges faced by university education management in the new media era, and proposes countermeasures such as strengthening ideological and political education, innovating learning platforms, and enhancing mental health education. These solutions provide feasible strategies for improving the quality of education and promoting the holistic development of university students.
