Abstract

With the accelerated emergence of new quality productive forces, ecogeological surveys are undergoing a critical transformation from traditional models to digitalized, intelligent, and systematic approaches. Centered on technological innovation, new quality productive forces emphasize digital technologies, green and low-carbon development, high-efficiency coordination, and intelligent integration, injecting fresh momentum into the advancement of ecogeological surveys. This paper explores five key development pathways: (1) constructing an integrated “sky–ground” intelligent survey system supported by remote sensing, big data, and artificial intelligence; (2) integrating heterogeneous data sources to promote the sharing and refined management of ecogeological information; (3) reinforcing application-oriented strategies to enhance the role of survey outcomes in ecological restoration and territorial spatial governance; (4) promoting institutional innovation to facilitate the translation of survey results into policy formulation and market-based mechanisms; and (5) strengthening capacity building by cultivating interdisciplinary talent and collaborative innovation platforms. Looking ahead, ecogeological surveys will become greener, smarter, more precise, and more efficient, serving as a critical scientific and technological foundation for ecological civilization and high-quality development.
