Abstract

Drawing on Mona Baker’s narrative theory, this study examines the English translation of The History of the Nanjing Massacre through four narrative framing strategies. The analysis reveals how these strategies effectively bridge cultural-historical gaps while maintaining accuracy and enhancing target readers’ emotional connection and historical understanding.
