Abstract

Driven by the “Double High Plan” (High-Level Vocational Colleges and Specialty Construction Plan with Chinese Characteristics), industry-education integration in higher vocational colleges has become a critical pathway for advancing high-quality development in vocational education. However, current practices still face challenges such as ambiguous rights and responsibilities between schools and enterprises, imbalanced resource allocation, disconnection between talent supply and demand, and lagging evaluation mechanisms. Through policy analysis and empirical case studies, this research systematically examines the practical status and prominent issues of industry-education integration in higher vocational colleges. It proposes a collaborative innovation framework integrating institutional innovation, resource optimization, talent cultivation, and evaluation reform. Taking Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology as an example, the study verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of these strategies, providing theoretical and practical references for deepening industry-education integration in higher vocational colleges.
