- Abstract
This paper focuses on the teaching of judging similar triangles in junior middle school mathematics, aiming to cultivate students’ intuitive ability in geometry. The teaching starts with a review of the knowledge of congruent triangles, guides students in understanding the definition and relationship of similar triangles, and stimulates their interest in exploration. By engaging in graphic movement, graphic splicing, cardboard cutting and splicing and other activities, students gain intuitive experience of the criteria for judgment [1]. The teaching emphasizes students’ participation and hands-on experience, improving their core quality of geometric intuition and enhancing their abilities of spatial imagination and logical reasoning.
