- Abstract
Personification is the parable of human nature in various manifestations. Meanwhile, Antithesis is an arena of juxtaposition between two different entities. Penaka is a novel that shows us whether personification and antithesis can be used as a source of education and literacy about policy, especially in dealing with a problem. This article aims to reveal the educational aspects of literature that can encourage us to see a problem more wisely with various perspectives on objects or other forms in the immediate environment. Learning occurs through the event of changing roles in the story, which happens to a married couple as the main characters in the story. The research method is to read the source data carefully, mark the aspects studied, and process based on multimodality. The output is an article. The theoretical concept used is multimodality. The hypothesis shows that personification and antithesis can be perspectives to look at problems more wisely, even with approaches or perspectives beyond human capabilities.
