- Abstract
This study explores the transformative impact of digital media on exhibition halls in the context of globalization and digitalization. It examines how digital technologies, such as VR, AR, and AI, are reshaping exhibition practices, visitor engagement, and cultural communication. The research analyzes case studies like the Palace Museum and the British Museum, focusing on innovations in live broadcasting, digital cultural and creative products, and interactive experiences. Findings reveal that digital media enhances accessibility and engagement through immersive technologies, fosters cognitive reconstruction and interactive exploration, and enables cultural co-creation by transforming visitors into active participants. The study concludes that digital media not only revolutionizes exhibition forms but also creates new models for cultural inheritance and social interaction, offering broader prospects for the future development of cultural institutions.
