- Abstract
In today's technological era, artificial intelligence has become crucial for lifelong learning, transforming how adults access and engage with educa- tional content. This study explores AI-supported learning among adults in Tü- rkiye, focusing on usage patterns, motivations, satisfaction levels, and privacy concerns. Using a quantitative survey method, data was collected from 272 par- ticipants, providing insights into demographic characteristics and user experi- ences. Findings reveal a strong preference for AI functionalities offering quick access to information and facilitating fast learning processes, highlighting the importance of efficiency and self-directed learning in adult education. However, challenges such as reduced human interaction and privacy concerns were also identified. The study emphasizes the need for comprehensive AI literacy training, as nearly half of the respondents expressed a desire for foundational AI knowledge. These insights are essential for developing effective AI-supported educational technologies that balance flexibility and efficiency with necessary human interaction, enhancing the overall learning experience for adults..
