- Abstract
AGVs are a branch of mobile robots, offering high transportation efficiency, energy savings, and safety in small areas. They are commonly used in storage-like environments, hazardous sites, and special operation areas abroad. The application of AGVs is gradually replacing traditional manual handling methods, significantly enhancing production efficiency, improving automation levels, optimizing production structures, and saving labor and resources. This paper analyzes the practical use of AGVs and the real needs for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in small and medium-sized enterprises. It focuses on improving the appearance of AGV transport vehicles, simplifying the vehicle body to reduce manufacturing costs, making its shape more similar to a forklift. This facilitates the smooth transition between system automatic operations and manual operations. Additionally, it simplifies programming settings, allowing for quick changes to the AGV forklift’s operational procedures, adapting to various task requirements while reducing the learning curve for enterprises.
