- Abstract
In this research, a discussion was carried out regarding the keris, which is an Indonesian artifact that has received recognition from UNESCO. The discussion focused more on keris handles or hilts from the island of Java, namely keris in the Surakarta and Yogyakarta style. In this research, digital photo experiments were carried out to determine the differences between Surakarta style and Yogyakarta style keris hilts in terms of their basic shape. The conclusion of this research is data taken from digital photos which are processed in software so that the differences in the basic shape of the keris hilts between the two can be seen.
