- Abstract
The aim of this research is to identify the signs of narcissistic personality disorder that is present in Homelander from The Boys TV Series (2019) and its effect on his life based on Caligor, Levy, and Yeoman’s theory. The researchers examined the dialogue by Homelander, which qualitative descriptive method was employed in this study. The researchers employed purposive sampling to collect the data from Homelander’s dialogue and actions. The results of this research found that Homelander has proven to have all nine signs of narcissistic personality disorder and due to having all the nine signs of NPD, Homelander’s life is confirmed to have been affected by this condition.
